Recovery Started

Finally made in to see a foot specialist on Monday afternoon to discuss my broken foot. He was pretty amazed at how bad I hurt myself because I am not the typical profile for this type of injury. I have a LisFranc Fracture. He scheduled surgery for 7:30 AM Tuesday which meant I had to get to the hospital way early.

Surgery was successful and no issues were encountered. Hope to make it out to the Dirt Crit final party at Lone Wolf. Guess this year's cross season is down the drain for me other than spectating and cowbell ringing. Definitely no PBR handups.

So the rest of this week I'll stay home and watch useless TV shows and research some things online that I need to procure.

sure, running the barriers could be hard on those bones, but what about a cushy insole? what is the timeline for healing?

10-12 weeks total. No weight on the foot for 6-8 weeks. Then I can probably do some cycling but no running esp. with a bike.
